I'm using a simple bucket to collect rain water that comes out of my channels (such as a drum of rain, but cheaper). HELP! Microfiber Love Seat possibly ruined? Rough fabric?
When you clean my microfiber sofa trying to get the cat pee smell out of it, I have been a little too wet. I also used a brush dish lightly rub the sofa that could not have been the best idea. After drying the material was very difficult so, I touched the sofa with a soft brush, and much softened tissue. However, the tissue is no where near the softness of my microfiber sofa others of the same material. What can I do? Are you lost? Is it possible to dry to the touch, but the threads of the canvas is still wet and needs more time to dry to settle in? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am very frightened by these sofas were very expensive. I forgot to mention that also slightly erased baking soda on the couch while was wet. Could dry baking soda to be the cause of the rough structure as well?
it is very likely that the sodium bicarbonate is not rinsed and is the cause of the stiffness of the fabric. There was a microfiber chair he had to wash cat pee (I used a lot of vinegar and water, and it worked, but took a little dry). Brush the fabric to bring up the nap helps, but unless you rinse the baking waste your fabric still feels rough. You may want to call to an airline like Stanley Steemer Suel or use a steam cleaner (I love my Bissell single laptop for this) to clean the upholstery. Last resort? Try slipcovering the couch.
